Thank you for choosing to engage with our calculator as a part of the the Harvard Ver-Eat-Tas! Initiative.

You are being asked to take part in a research study.

This research is being conducted to learn about how human dietary patterns impact the environment and climate change. Specifically, we are interested in learning about factors that predict differences in dietary intake across people and countries, so that we can better target communications and interventions. You are being asked to participate in this research because you elected to use the foodprint calculator tool.

Your participation in this study is voluntary and you may withdraw your participation at any time for any reason. If you take part in this study, you will be asked to answer five brief questions about your gender, age, income, ethnicity, and country of residence. You may decline from answering any or all of these questions.

The possible risks of participating in this study include psychological discomfort experienced in responding to the aforementioned questions.

There are no direct benefits to you from taking part in this research. However, possible societal benefits include gaining a better understanding of determinants of dietary foodprints.

You can decline to participate in any part of this study for any reason and can end your participation at any time. If you have any questions about this study, you can contact Dr. Stacy Blondin at sblondin@hsph.harvard.edu. Thank you again for your time and participation.
